Why do Mobility?

Why do Mobility?

Muscle soreness or DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) as they are called happens after you do a workout that is intense enough to force adaptation in your muscles. This is the “good” kind of pain in your muscles after a solid workout.

What happens is that your muscles are rebuilding and getting both stronger and a bit tighter with that.

This is one of the reasons why mobility is great after a workout. Movement and mobility increase blood flow to the area, therefore the rate of new blood with fresh nutrients and building blocks are delivered more frequently to get that muscle fresh faster.

Motion is lotion. If you currently do not perform any mobility work in your recovery, you might be missing out on some serious performance benefits!
Keep taking care of your body.
